JKSET/LASET 2026: Notification, Exam Dates, and Application Guide
The University of Kashmir, acting as the Nodal Agency, has officially released the notification for the State Eligibility Test (JKSET/LASET-2026) for the UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh. This examination determines the eligibility of candidates for appointment as Assistant Professors and admission to Ph.D. programs.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in a Master's Degree or equivalent.
- A relaxation of 5% (i.e., 50% total) is provided for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), SC, ST, PwD, and Third Gender categories.
- Candidates currently appearing for their final year/semester of Master’s degree may also apply provisionally.

- Jammu: Jammu, Kathua, Rajouri, Udhampur, Bhadarwah
- Ladakh: Leh & Kargil

- Applications must be submitted online via https://set.uok.edu.in or https://www.kashmiruniversity.net.
- No physical copies of the application form need to be submitted to the agency prior to the exam.
- Ensure your email and mobile number are accurate for all future communications.
- The examination will be conducted across 41 subjects.
